NSW regulatory authority that operates to obtain the best possible monetary return for NSW rice growers, by licensing Authorised Buyers and issuing the Sole and Exclusive Export licence.

AUTHORISED BUYERS

Entities licensed by the Rice Marketing Board to buy NSW grown rice for the domestic market.

SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE EXPORT LICENCE HOLDER

Ricegrowers Limited, trading as SunRice, is the current holder of the Sole and Exclusive Export Licence for NSW grown rice.

NSW DEPARTMENT OF PRIMARY INDUSTRIES

The Rice Marketing Board is a statutory board, and is included in the Department of Primary Industries cluster.

RICEGROWERS' ASSOCIATION OF AUSTRALIA (RGA)

Represents the interests of rice growers to government and other relevant organisations, and provides grower education and development opportunities.

RICE R&D ADVISORY PANEL

Oversees rice research, development and extension, including the implementation of the Rice Five year R&D Plan. Made up of rice growers, technical experts and AgriFutures and RGA executives.

AGRIFUTURES

Federal Authority that manages grower levies and government contributions for rice research, development and extension.
